Chelsea has started the season with two massive wins.
Thomas Tuchel’s men kickstarted the new campaign with two wins and will be looking to challenge the league title this term.
They have already won the UEFA Super Cup by beating Villarreal in a penalty shoot-out.
The Blues have also signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter to bolster their attacking options who scored a goal in his debut against Arsenal.
Tuchel outlines Chelsea’s goal ahead of the new season.
‘We have to close the gap to Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City. And we want to do this from the first game of the season,’ Tuchel told Sky Sports.
‘We raised the bar, it cannot be a disadvantage now. We don’t want to have the negative effect of it, it creates expectations and demands, but I hope it doesn’t create problems from outside.
‘I know what I demand from myself, that’s always the highest level the team can produce and demand, they are ambitious. We will be the first to expect the same performances and results as last season.’
