Mauricio Pochettino, the head coach of Chelsea, has announced that Noni Madueke would play for Chelsea against West Ham in the Premier League

The 21-year-old, who missed the entire preseason owing to a slight hamstring injury, did not play in Chelsea’s season opener against Liverpool last weekend.

Pochettino didn’t utilise Madueke during the 1-1 draw because the Argentine didn’t want to take any chances with the January acquisition. However, on Sunday at the London Stadium, things are about to change.

Pochettino has praised how well the Under-21 England international has been training ahead of his return to Chelsea, where he won the European Championship earlier this summer.

He is much better, according to Pochettino. “It was too early for him to have played against Liverpool. He was doing incredibly well in his training this week, and he will play against West Ham.

Madueke made sure to deliver a clear message to his teammates ahead of his first full season at the club. He returns to a team that is positive and confident as a result of Pochettino’s hiring. Olivia Buzaglo: “To be honest, I don’t think anyone should be in the building if they begin a season at Chelsea and don’t think they can challenge. We would be doing ourselves a disservice if we believed we couldn’t be right up there, if you look at our squad’s depth on paper.
