Directors of Al-Ittihad have arrived in London to discuss the contract with Kante.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is on the verge of departure at Stamford Bridge. He has reportedly decided to leave the Blues in order to sign for Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.

The Frenchman is a free agent now and the Saudi club is likely to sign him. He spent over six months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the WC 2018 winner is now on the brink of signing a lucrative deal with Saudi Arabian champions Al-Ittihad.

Kante has allegedly agreed to a deal worth €100m per year and is in line to pen a contract until 2025, 12 months fewer than his compatriot. Directors of Al-Ittihad have arrived in London to discuss the contract with Kante.

Kante will depart Chelsea having scored 13 goals and 16 assists during his 269 games, as well as playing a key role in some of the club’s greatest moments.
