Pochettino said that “no one can be safe” amid speculation over his future.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino’s job is now at risk after the heavy defeat to Wolves in the Premier League. The Blues now have only 31 points after 23 games and they are most likely to miss out European qualification for the second consecutive season.

Things are not working for Chelsea and they are in trouble since the new ownership. They signed new manager this summer but they are still same.

Chelsea started on a high note when Cole Palmer produced a goal in the first 20 minutes to offer a lead to the West London club. however, the Wolves came back through Matheus Cunha and Axel Disasi’s own goal assured a 2-1 lead for the Wolves. Cunha added two more goals to score his maiden Premier League hat trick.

Thiago Silva scored a goal in the final minute to change the scoreline. It remains another disappointing tale for the Blues.

While talking on Sunday’s defeat, Pochettino said, “We are not good enough. Myself, also. I’m responsible for this situation. What we showed today was not good enough.

“We didn’t manage the situation properly and of course, no one can be safe. I don’t want to come here and say I am the best. We’re all responsible.

“The players need to take responsibility like I take responsibility. At the moment we’re not matching the history of the club. That’s true.

“We need to accept it, be critical but we cannot give up. We’ll work hard to change. If it’s not working in this way, we need to move on and find a different solution.”

Pochettino’s side will now play an FA Cup tie against Aston Villa after a draw at home. It will be a replay game.
