Chelsea open to offers for midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The Chelsea midfielder has been one of the key personnel for Mauricio Pochettino this season and his form has been one of the biggest positives in the team.

He is currently wearing the captain’s armband in the absence of club captain Reece James.

Gallagher is preferred in the lineup alongside two expensive midfield acquisitions, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

There has been speculation over the player’s future in the last few weeks and has attracted attention from Lonon rivals Tottenham.

The Chelsea youth prospect has emerged as one of the players who could leave Stamford Bridge this month.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino was recently asked about Gallagher’s future at the West London club.

He said: ‘Look, I cannot guarantee I will be here tomorrow! In football, different things can happen. [There are] decisions between the club and player.

‘Only the player can guarantee or the club. The player more than the club as the player have one year and half more.

‘[Gallagher] can say “I will be here because my contract allows me to be here”. It’s about making the right decision for the club, the player and the team.’
