Juventus has entered the market for Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea

It’s impossible to overstate how disastrous Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge has been. The Belgian scored only eight league goals after being signed for little under £100 million. The forward’s loan season with his old team Inter Milan was last year. Despite not being able to secure a regular starting position, he managed to put up a good 1663 league minutes of performance with 10 goals and six assists.

The 30-year-old is probably going to be sold by the Blues this summer, and a return to the Nerazzurri has been suggested. He led them to their first league championship in more than ten years in the 2020–21 season, scoring 24 goals and providing another 11 assists. Dealmaking is challenging, though, because Inter Milan lacks the necessary finances. Juventus, a fellow Serie A team, may hijack the action, according to Sky Sports.

The Old Lady have faltered in recent years after dominating the domestic sphere for years. They haven’t won a trophy in the past two years, and last season was the first time since 2011 that they didn’t place in the top four.

The Bianconeri don’t currently consider a new striker to be a top priority. However, that position might become available if primary forward Dusan Vlahovic decides to move.

Chelsea has already experienced a busy summer. Ten members of the first team roster from the previous season have left, while Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have joined. And Stamford Bridge should see a significant increase in business. There are plans to sign Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo, while Christian Pulisic is close to joining AC Milan.
