After the departure of Eden Hazard, the next in line could be Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri; this time to Juventus.

Sarri’s favourite player Jorginho has however, has shed little light on the matter.

“I don’t know, we’ll see what he chooses,” Jorginho told Rai Sport following Italy’s 3-0 win over Greece in Euro 2020 qualifying on Saturday.

“I have no idea what he’ll do, to be honest, as I am focused on Italy right now.”

Earlier he had expressed his desire for the Italian to stay.

“It would be sad because I think he did a good job,” Jorginho had told a news conference of rumours Sarri could leave.

“We finished third in the Premier League, we won the Europa League and we reached the EFL Cup final despite all the critics.

“It was a good first season in Chelsea. It would be sad for everyone.

“The Napoli fans still have him in their hearts; it’s normal that they could get angry. They could treat it as a betrayal; they’re like that. We’ll see what happens.”

Jorginho was Sarri’s first signing at Chelsea and many believe that it is a case of favouritism shown by the boss to the midfielder, including some like Fabregas. It remains to be seen what happens once Sarri leaves.
