Jorginho's double warning for Chelsea and Sarri

The rumours in the transfer mill are reporting that Maurizio Sarri’s reign as Chelsea manager is coming to an end and Juventus are increasingly likely to be his next destination.

However, former Napoli player Jorginho warned Sarri of joining Napoli’s rivals Juventus and also feels it will not be fair of Chelsea to let go of Sarri.

“It would be sad because I think he did a good job,” Jorginho told a news conference of rumours Sarri could leave.

“We finished third in the Premier League, we won the Europa League and we reached the EFL Cup final despite all the critics.

“It was a good first season in Chelsea. It would be sad for everyone.

“The Napoli fans still have him in their hearts; it’s normal that they could get angry. They could treat it as a betrayal; they’re like that. We’ll see what happens.”

Another Chelsea star Emerson Palmieri echoed his thoughts. “It’s difficult to talk about that,” the defender said of the speculation. “I think he had – and we had – a good season.

“It’s not been easy, but he has to stay at Chelsea. Never say never in football, though. We have to keep on doing our job.”

  1. We were lucky to finish in 3rd place only managed by the rest of the premier top 10 playing worse than us, lets face it 20 points between 2nd & 3rd place is pretty poor & any other season we would have been much lower down the table.

  2. I can feel your pian man…you know it that you were one of the most useless player in the team..but your father still insisted on playing you. You know there is no place for you in the team once he leaves….please accept my sympathy, or you can as well leave with him. Thanks
