How Chelsea can improve without Hazard this season

Chelsea are under a FIFA imposed transfer ban.

The Blues were found guilty of breaking the rules when sanctioning the transfers of a few underage players and FIFA in all their infinite wisdom and new found sense of partial justice decided to punish the Blues.

The Blues are now waiting to see if the ban is overturned when they take their appeal to the CaS. If it is done so, it will be great news for Chelsea.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are set to lose their star player in Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer. With the Belgian leaving and Willian and Pedro already over 30, Chelsea’s hopes in the wings rest on Callum Hudson-Odoi and new signing Christian Pulisic.

However, Hudson-Odoi’s injury means that he is unlikely to feature again this year leaving the Blues fragile in the wings. It has seen their attention turn to Ajax, like most big clubs in Europe this season.

Ajax played some Cryuff football entertaining each and every football fan throughout the world. It has seen Chelsea raise some serious interest in their star winger David Neres.

The Brazilian is only 22 and ended the season with 12 goals and 15 assists and could be a big signing for the Blues.
