Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has said that he is enjoying the “war” to reach the top four in the Premier League among the London clubs Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. The Blues won their last match against Fulham by 2-1 to gain pace in their pursuit to finish among the top four while Arsenal and Tottenham dropped points as the North London derby ended in 1-1.
Speaking to the media after the match, the Belgian skipper said, “We talked together in the dressing room about Arsenal-Tottenham. Both lost two points. Top four is a hard war, because we’re not only four teams, we’re six teams. Now we have 11 games to play till the end of the season. We’ll try to take the maximum points.”
In his take on the last match against Fulham, Hazard said, “The performance was great and we took three points.”
He also emphasized on the recent form of his teammates, especially Kepa Arrizabalaga and Jorginho, both of whom have been criticized for different in the recent time. Speaking about Kepa, Hazard said, “The week was not so easy for him, but he’s a great goalkeeper and he’s a great guy.”
Regarding Jorginho, who has been taking the stick from the Chelsea supporters due to his lacklustre performances, the Chelsea talisman said, “We need this kind of player.” He also insisted that the Italian midfielder has been “doing very well” and “gives tempo to the game”.
