Hakim Ziyech loves the idea of returning to Ajax in the future.

The Moroccan winger joined the Blues in the summer of 2020 in a £36million deal but has struggled to replicate his Ajax form at Stamford Bridge.

He has scored only three goals in 30 Premier League appearances and has struggled for game time under Thomas Tuchel who has plenty of options at his disposal.

Recently he looks a lot more solid on the pitch but has also been linked with a move to German club Borussia Dortmund.

Ziyech has opened the door for a possible to return to Amsterdam in the near future.

Ziyech told Ziggo Sport: ‘I would love to. I had a fantastic time there.

‘It’s a place where I have felt at home, and whether it will ever happen, the future will tell. But, if it is up to me, it will definitely happen.

‘That’s not up to me; I leave that to them. I just try to enjoy every day now and do my thing.

‘What the future brings, we’ll see then. But, like I said, I hope it happens one day. Whether it will happen is not up to me.’
