Fenerbahce defender Attila Szalai is on his way to Stamford Bridge.
The defender is close to joining the Blues in a £20m deal according to his national team coach Marco Rossi.
The talented 23-year old defender would be a perfect fit for Thomas Tuchel and has excelled in the Turkish league.
The Blues are currently in contract discussions with defenders Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who all will be free agents in the summer.
The Hungarian has picked up 23 caps for the national team and his contract with Fenerbahce expires in the summer of 2025.

“It’s hard to name just one player, but right now I see very well Attila Szalai, who plays for Fenerbahce, but I think he is joining Chelsea,” Rossi said.
“Clearly, he has been followed by important clubs in Spain, but apparently his move to Chelsea is a done deal. It would be a great player also for Italian football.”
