Enzo Fernandez made a record-breaking deadline-day transfer at Chelsea.
The Blues spent around £106million to acquire his services from Benfica on the deadline day.
Just a month prior, Enzo was alongside Lionel Messi where the duo was instrumental in making Argentina win the World Cup.
The 22-year-old forward was voted the Best Young Player at the World Cup in December and Chelsea went all out for him five weeks later.
He has shown glimpses of his character on the pitch when he set up Joao Felix for his first goal against West Ham.
“What can I take from that time with him [Messi]?” Fernandez asked in an interview with the Telegraph. “Energy, from that squad, from that dressing room and from all my Argentinian team-mates because it was a special dressing room, you can imagine it was a lively dressing room.
“Energy, positivity, real desire and a real will to win, those are the ideas that were really prevalent in the Argentinian dressing room, but also keeping humble, that thing about Messi keeping humble. I want to really demonstrate that I’m a leader both in the group off the field but on the field as well.”
