Chelsea recalls David Fofana from his loan spell at Union Berlin

Chelsea have no plans for David Fofana despite Sevilla links.

Chelsea are now making a rush to finalise the plans for the winter transfer window. They have recalled David Datro Fofana from his loan spell at Union Berlin. The potential move to Sevilla is still in doubt.

Fofana was also considered to depart during the summer window. He impressed at Molde in Norway, making 10 starts and six substitute performances. The 21-year-old has managed two goals.

The Blues have now decided to recall him from his loan spell in Germany. They announced on Wednesday afternoon that Fofana had been recalled. Chelsea have no future plans for the Ivory Coast international.

As per reports, Sevilla have been discussing taking over the terms of the loan agreement with their Chelsea counterparts. Chelsea will also take care of their financial plans. Chelsea can only allow seven departures to foreign clubs as per FIFA regulations, and their allocation is currently full.

Chelsea are currently in search for a new striker and they need funds to complete this. They have picked few players and Pochettino will sign at least one player on the deadline day.
