As per the reports of Sport, via The Chelsea Chronicle (h/t football.london), Chelsea have targeted Barcelona full-back Sergino Dest as their top priority in the January transfer window.
Chelsea board are said to have identified the defender as their ‘number one’ transfer target, and are keen to get him to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes.
Though the American was thought was also thought to be on Bayern Munich’s radar, it seems as though Blues have been on the offence to sign him, and have enquired with Barcelona about his availability.
Tuchel gonna lose their key defenders this year and also saw injury concerns. Reece James and Ben Chilwell are out for the rest of the season. Dest would be an ideal replacement. The Barca full-back could cost Chelsea up to €20million, with Spanish giants looking to cash in on potential player sales given their poor financial situation.
