The Blues are keen to pay his €50 million release clause to bring Barcelona man to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to pay the release clause of Barcelona teenager Gavi. The 17-year-old left a huge impact on the Spanish club.
The teenager only made his first-team debut at the end of August and then he become a regular fixture of the starting XI at Barcelona. Gavi was also handed a surprise call-up by Luis Enrique.
The midfielder has appeared four times for the Spanish side. He also starred in the Nations League final against France. He also helped Luis Enrique’s men to earn the qualification for the World Cup 2022.
The Blues are reportedly keen to pay out Gavi’s €50 million release clause to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Barcelona are also planning to hand the Spain international a new five-year deal that would include a mammoth €1 billion buy-out clause.
