Chelsea needs at least 3-4 signings this summer.
The Blues have completed the signing of Raheem Sterling and could be officially announced this week.
He will definitely improve the attacking line after the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
The squad has been weakened with the permanent departure of Rudiger and Christensen and Chelsea needs immediate replacements.
Gabby Agbonlahor believes the club needs further 3-4 signings in this summer alone to compete with the likes of City and Liverpool.
“[Sterling] will help them bridge the gap,” he told talkSPORT. “What was it, [19 points] behind Manchester City? That’s a big gap.
“They have lost Rudiger who, for me, was one of the best defenders in the Premier League last season, they have to fill that gap.
“There is talk of De Ligt coming in but that’s not done yet.
“Lukaku has gone. For me they probably need another striker because Werner is hot and cold. Pulisic and Ziyech are looking like they are going to leave.
“Sterling will make them better but, for me, they still need three or four top players to get anywhere near Liverpool or Manchester City.”
