The Blues are considering Jonathan Tah as the ideal replacement for Thiago Silva.
Chelsea have started their preparation for the upcoming summer transfer window as they want to boost their squad ahead of season 2023/24.
The Blues have fixed out few young talents and they will sign them. Defence is the area where they want to keep more interest. They are linked with few defenders and Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah is one of them.
As per the reports of SportWitness, the 28-year-old defender Jonathan Tah is a top target for Chelsea. The Blues are considering him as the ideal replacement for Thiago Silva who is leaving the club at the end of the season.
Now, the problem joins the story as Chelsea will face the task with another London rivals. Tottenham are also looking at him and they want to sign the German defender this summer.
Spurs may offer him a good contract and Chelsea have to keep the FPP rule in mind. Meanwhile, they have also focused on other options like Brest defender Bradley Locko and Chelsea are also interested in Gent left-back Archie Brown. There are some other options so Chelsea can take back step from Jonathan Tah.
