Federico Valverde, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has received a bid from Chelsea to join them at Stamford Bridge this summer

The Uruguayan international has been connected with both Liverpool and Manchester United, according to reports that have circulated in the Spanish daily all summer.

Since Jude Bellingham will be joining Real Madrid this summer and Aurelien Tchouameni has been linked to the Premier League, Valverde may find himself at the bottom of the food chain.

And now, the Real Madrid-focused Spanish newspaper Nacional claims that Eduardo Camavinga will be “left in a critical situation” as a result of his “desire to play in midfield and abandon the left-back.” Under Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, it is anticipated that his role at the Bernabeu will be “considerably reduced” and that he will “no longer be untouchable.”

And now Chelsea of the Premier League is “tending” Real Madrid by making an offer of €120 million (£104 million) for Valverde. If accepted, this would be the “most expensive sale” in club history. Lesley Ugochukwu and Axel Disasi, two French stars, were acquired by Chelsea from Rennes and Monaco, respectively, over the past week.

Jonathan Johnson, a French football specialist, also shared his thoughts on the two Premier League newcomers at Stamford Bridge. “Chelsea have invaded the French market once again with two additional signings,” Johnson wrote in his Caught Offside column, “to follow recent additions such as Christopher Nkunku, Benoit Badiashile, and Malo Gusto.
