It might come as a surprise that Spanish giants Barcelona are eyeing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham as a potential signing.
This is mainly because Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez, has told the club that he is definitely comfortable with Abraham replacing him one day.
“There are many young strikers who are playing very well this season,” Suarez said.
“Personally, I have certain number of young and old strikers that I like to see them because of their skills. For example, I like Abraham, Chelsea’s No9.
“In my opinion he is an incredible striker with a good finishing and who moves incredible despite of his youth.
Moreover, Tammy Abraham hasn’t spoken about extending his contract with Chelsea, so it looks like he might be wanting to make a move. Also, he asked for a wage of 180,000 pounds per week, which is probably not going to be seen by Chelsea – another reason to change clubs for him.
“Another one is Maxi Gomez and not only because he is from Uruguay, but also because he has a lot of characteristics and skills which are the ones that big teams are looking for in one striker.
“Obviously, Lautaro Martinez is playing at high level this season too…”
