Chelsea star winger Willian has been reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract for the Blues for a long time now.
He joined the club back in 2013 after Chelsea won the Europa League from Russia. The Brazilian was set to join Tottenham Hotspur but Jose Mourinho interfered and ensured that Willian came to South West London instead.
Since then Willian has won multiple trophies for the club, scored a few crucial goals and has become a key player at Stamford Bridge. Willian is known for his dribbling and playmaking abilities.
He has now a contract which expires next year and with new talks still in the process, it is being reported, Barcelona are back in the market looking for him again. The Catalan club were extremely keen on signing the Brazilian and offered large sums of money and players but Chelsea refused.
However, with only a year left on his contract and an extension yet to be agreed by both parties, Barcelona have come once again to take advantage of the unstable condition Chelsea find themselves in.
Should Willian leave, Chelsea will be left desperately short in the wings due to their transfer ban.
