Cesar Azpilicueta believes that the Blues did a great job while playing against Tottenham on Sunday. Chelsea won the match with a score of 2-0.
Chelsea bagged their place in the top 4 in the Premier League last night – after they beat Mourinho’s side on Sunday.
At the start of the match, Chelsea didn’t start off too well but spiked their performance levels up soon into the game. Within 13 minutes, star attacker Willian cut in from the left and netted a ball confidently through the bottom corner.
Harry Kane botched a decent opportunity to draw the scores level, yet with everything taken into account, Chelsea commanded the opening time frame.
“It feels very good both for us as a team but also for the fans,” Azpilicueta told Sky Sports.
”It’s a good result. We knew we were coming into a Tottenham team who were playing well and derby games are always so important.
”We fought and we played some really good football. We know that when we score just before half time it gives us better advantage.
”We came out tried to score a third but the team did an amazing job and it is credit to us all. ”
