Armando Broja is one of the few centre-forward options at Potter’s disposal.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja admired Blues teammate Mateo Kovacic who assisted his first senior goal for the club in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Wolves.

The 21-year-old made his ninth appearance as a substitute for Chelsea in the final 20 minutes of the game and netted a fine strike.

He timed his run well and scored with his first and only shot in the game.

“I saw Kova get on the ball, and I knew as soon as he got on the ball, I can make a run in behind,” the Albania international told Chelsea TV.

“It was a great pass from him — it’s amazing.

“After that, you know… as a striker, instinct like this kicked in and [I] had a shot at the goal.

“It was a surreal moment for me and my family. Even better because it’s my dad’s birthday today, so I got a goal for him.”

Aside from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz, Broja is one of the few centre-forward options at Potter’s disposal.
