Tomori reveals how Pulisic hat-trick has affected the squad

Christian Pulisic scored a brilliant hattrick for Chelsea against Burnley.

He had been starved of game time in the first few matches. The young American then came back strongly making assists on every cameo appearance. Finally given the chance to start, he scored a hat trick.

Now Tomori, who himself has done well to earn a starting spot, has said that Pulisic’s hat trick will inspire the rest of the squad to stay on their toes and keep improving to start games.

“Christian has been doing it recently, he’s been doing it from the bench. He fully deserved his start today and it was a fantastic match-winning performance.”

“We know what Christian can do and he has had to bide his time and when he has come on in recent games he has done really well, and the manager rewarded him with a start on Saturday and to score a hat-trick, there is nothing better,” Tomori said on Pulisic.

“I am really happy for him that he has managed to open his account and got a hat-trick as well.”

Chelsea take on Manchester United next tonight when the Blues host the Red Devils for a Carabao Cup match.
