Thomas Tuchel expects to see out his contract until 2024.
The German coach led the Blues to Champions League glory after being appointed for less than five months as Frank Lampard’s successor.
This season Chelsea are still in the running for Carabao Cup, Club World Cup, FA Cup and Champions League.
His side is currently struggling in the Premier League after a robust start to the competition and are 13 points away from league leaders Manchester City.
Tuchel believes his previous successes won’t give him much room with the Chelsea board who demand silverware season after season.
“I think I have a contract until 2024,” said Chelsea head coach Tuchel, ahead of Tuesday’s league match at Brighton.
“Let’s stay with this and try to stay as long as this contract says.
“History tells us that it’s not that easy, but I feel very confident today that I can make it – I don’t want to be anywhere else, this is absolutely sure.
“I feel very happy, let’s see what happens, but everyone knows you need results, and I’m responsible for creating an atmosphere that gives us the results.”
