Chelsea have completed the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
The Ecuadorian midfielder has made his move to Stamford Bridge for a British record fee of £115 million.
The Blues will be paying an initial £100m, plus £15m in performance-related add-ons.
Liverpool came close to agreeing a £111m deal to sign Caicedo last week but the player intended to join Chelsea.
He has signed an eight-year contract with the West London giants and this is the second time after seven months that Chelsea have smashed the British transfer record fee.
Caicedo made 53 appearances in all competitions for Brighton and is the latest Seagulls player to join Chelsea, following the footsteps of Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez.

“I am so happy to join Chelsea! I am so excited to be here at this big club and I didn’t have to think twice when Chelsea called me, I just knew I wanted to sign for the club,” Caicedo said in a club statement.
“It’s a dream come true to be here and I can’t wait to get started with the team.”
