Chelsea will be going back to the 1980s for next season’s third shirt as leaked images reveal a very striking new design. Footy Headlines have revealed what the Blues’ third kit is going to look like next season.
After the announcement that ‘3’ will sponsor the club next season, the report have added their logo to the red and blue-striped effort. The red colour was heavily present on Chelsea away kits back in the 80s and 90s, but the club have scrapped plans of using it since then.
Why? Well because it reminds Blues fans of their city rivals, Arsenal. Here is the design from Nike, with new sponsor ‘3’ added to complete the look.
