Chelsea might sign Sancho once the transfer ban is lifted.
As we all know, Chelsea is banned from getting any players at the moment. However, Frank Lampard has admitted that Chelsea will consistently hope to sign players in specific areas that might need changing.
Willian’s future with the club is vague with his agreement running out and Pedro will leave once his agreement finishes in the summer. But till the ban is lifted, the club has its eyes set on Jadon Sancho – the previous Manchester City winger.
He has definitely caught Chelsea’s interest. If the club can win the Champions League football, his signing might just turn into a reality – if he would want to move.
Jadon Sancho would further be assured regular first-team football. He is also known to have good friends in the club already, like Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson Odoi and more.
During a recent interview with Sancho’s father, the father gave away information that Chelsea ‘would be the ideal club’ for Sancho. Frank Khalid, in a podcast (Alex Goldberg’s ‘Byline’), reveals that he has spoken to Sancho’s father about this and confirmed his father saying this. This simply proves the hype surrounding the young football player.
There hasn’t been any confirmation from Chelsea yet but it’s clear that this is something more than just a rumour.
