Saul Niguez is struggling at Chelsea since his loan move this summer.
The 27-year old midfielder has made seven appearances for the Blues since his loan move from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
He is currently struggling for minutes under Thomas Tuchel and had a slow start to the Premier League.
He would be given the chance to impress in midfield on Wednesday given the injuries to both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.
Tuchel said: ‘He is one of the guys who needs rhythm and needs minutes. He’s always in our thinking and always in our thoughts.
‘We always reflect on every single training session and performance. He is one of the guys we think about
‘He struggled a bit with the intensity. I think he was a bit unlucky he played against Aston Villa, Southampton and Watford.
‘All three if you look at the data were high intensity games even in terms of for the Premier League they were above the average so it does not suit his main qualities.
‘We try to encourage him because he grows into Chelsea more and more and we will not stop to encourage him and try to bring out the best and help him to help us and help the team.
‘There is a high possibility he can prove it tomorrow.’
