Graham Potter reveals his plans for players who haven’t travelled to Dortmund.

Todd Boehly has spent over £300m+ on eight new signings in this January transfer window alone.

Only Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk got selected for the Champions League squad.

Noni Madueke, David Datro Fofana and Benoit Badiashile were left out of the squad as only three players are allowed to be registered.

Club’s joint top-scorer this season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was also excluded from Graham Potter’s Champions League squad.

Manager Graham Potter explains the plan for players who have been excluded from the European squad.

“They trained today (Tuesday) with the group,” Potter said when asked about those that are not in the squad.

“They’ll be free tomorrow (Wednesday) and watch the game then we are back and train on Thursday.

“They’ll be available for Southampton.”

The boss also gave an update on some injured players who are currently on their road to recovery.

He said: “Raheem (Sterling), NG (N’Golo Kante), (Christian) Pulisic will be working at Cobham too.”
