Frank Lampard gives his verdict on Roman Abramovic sanctions.
The Russian billionaire has been frozen of all his assets by the British government.
The UK government has told that Abramovich will not be able to take any profits from the Chelsea sale who took over the club back in 2003.
The Blues have been barred from selling any tickets or merchandise and offer any new contracts to their current or new players.
Former manager Frank Lampard addresses the Blues’ current turmoil situation.
“A lot of players would just concentrate on the job in hand,” Abramovich said, “I tried to do it as a player. But this is a bit bigger than that.
“I understand that there is some doubt in the future and not just at Chelsea.
“We live watching the news every day and understand what’s happening in the world has a bigger perspective than ever.
“So maybe a contract position that you might have or a free transfer is not the main thing. Maybe it’s what’s going on in the world.”
