Frank Lampard responds to former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba's criticism

Drogba is certainly not pleased with how Chelsea are being run now that a new owner has taken over.

Chelsea caretaker manager Frank Lampard speaks on former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba who earlier said he doesn’t recognise his club anymore.

However, (h/t Mirror), after the loss to Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, Lampard was questioned about the opinions of his former teammate Drogba, and Chelsea manager stated:

“They’re Didier’s comments, sorry.”

Drogba is certainly not pleased with how Chelsea are being run now that a new owner has taken over. Roman Abramovich made it a habit to fire managers right away if the results faltered.

Current owner, Todd Boehly invested £300 million in players like Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile and another £200 million in new players in the summer and wants to transform Chelsea into a different team.

Lampard’s hiring has not proven to be fruitful as the former Chelsea man has lost his first four games, which is the first occasion since 1993 that Chelsea have lost four straight games.
