Gary Neville claimed that Pochettino is the ideal candidate for Chelsea going forward.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have held initial talks with former Tottenham and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino as the search for a new manager continues.
It is added that the Argentine is one of the five candidates listed at this stage of the process. He was also in plan in September 2022 before signing Potter.
The 51-year-old got an offer from top clubs but he has rejected offers from various European clubs in the last few months. He will assess his options in the summer before making a final decision.

Pochettino did very well during his long tenure at Tottenham. However, he did not take that final step and win them the trophies. His team went close many times but seem to buckle under extreme pressure.
Chelsea needs someone who can guarantee silverware and stable running of the team in terms of squad harmony and tactics.
