Everton are interested in Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek but Thomas Tuchel has been keen to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old English midfielder has appeared in 20 games for the Blues this season and has produced three assists, two of which came in the Premier League in October.
Juventus were also interested in loaning out the Blues academy product as a substitute for Arthur, but his loan arrangement with Arsenal has expired.
Everton, meanwhile, are eager for midfield reinforcements following the injuries to Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph, who are both set to be out for at least four weeks with groyne and thigh injuries.
Since making his first-team debut in 2014, the midfielder has scored 12 goals in 102 appearances for the Blues. He has had two spells out on loan before and after an Achilles tendon rupture in 2019, representing fellow London outfits Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Earlier this month when asked to clarify Loftus-Cheek’s future, German boss Tuchel said: ‘We haven’t talked about it (loaning Loftus-Cheek out).
‘He has a lot of game time, he has a lot to fight for here if we talk about Ruben and my personal opinion. said the Chelsea boss.
