There it is folks! Eden Hazard has officially announced he will be leaving the Blues!

The Belgian joined Stamford Bridge exactly seven years ago and won the Europa League title in his debut season. After that he won several other trophies, both individual and team. He finally signed off in style by handing Chelsea another Europa League with a man of the match performance in the final.

When pressed about his future, he announced he will be leaving the club if given permission, which should not be an obstacle given how professionally he has served Chelsea.

However, Eden does not want the chapter to end here. He loves the Bridge and wants to return here next season with his new team.

“In the next few days, my departure will be official. I think it was my last game, it’s between clubs right now, I cannot talk about it yet,” he told RMC Sport.

“I hope to face Lille and Chelsea in Champions League next season.”

What a player the Blues signed. He dazzled and entertained the Blues faithful match after match and will surely go down as one of the club legends. Farewell from your Garden, Eden.
