Chelsea have reportedly joined the race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Serie A striker has been impressive so far in the 2021-22 season. The former Lille man has netted six goals and registered one assist from six games in the current season.
Osimhen moved to Italy last summer and his contract will expire in the next summer of 2025. Top European clubs are interested in Victor. Manchester City showed first interested in it and now Champions League Winners planned a move for the 22-year-old.
Journalist Ciro Venerato reports that the Blues are also in the race and he told Rai 2, “Osimhen is already worth triple, the Nigerian is liked by Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester City.”
Nigeria international notched up 10 goals and provided three assists from 24 appearances in his debut Serie A season.
