Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku ready to make his debut.

The Frenchman joined the Blues in a £52m deal from RB Leipzig this summer and suffered a knee injury during the club’s pre-season games.

The 26-year-old struck 58 goals across his last two campaigns in Germany and Chelsea fans were excited to see the striker make his debut at the start of the campaign.

Nkunku is considered as one of the most exciting players to watch in Europe after bagging 16 goals in the Bundesliga last campaign with RB Leipzig.

He was Pochettino’s first signing when he took charge at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

The striker underwent knee surgery in August and is yet to make a Premier League appearance for his new club.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino reveals that the player could be given a chance against Sheffield United tonight.

“Yes, he can be involved. That is very good news,” Pochettino told a press conference.

“To be involved [Saturday] and be in the squad and to feel the competition after the pre-season is good news for us. We need to be calm and quiet so not to put all the pressure on him. Now he’s going to evolve, know the Premier League.”
