Chelsea keen on signing Milan shot-stopper Mike Maignan in summer

AC Milan are not willing to sell Mike Maignan.

Chelsea are planning to get the signature of Milan’s starting shot-stopper Mike Maignan in the summer. The Blues are keen to sign the 27-year-old goalkeeper.

As per the reports from French news-outlet L’Equipe, via MilanNews, the West London club are keen to acquire the 27-year-old keeper. However, the Serie A giants are not willing to sell the Frenchman.

Blues are looking to offload Edouard Mendy and Kepa as Chelsea have not been impressed with their respective performances in recent period.

Mike Maignan is not happy with Milan’s decision to offload club legend Paolo Maldini from his duties as Sporting Director. The Blues are hoping that this situation can help them to sign the Frenchman.

Maignan has peaked under Pioli and has played an important role in helping Milan clinch the Italian top-flight for the first time in 11 years last season.
