Lautaro Martinez, an Inter striker who is anticipated to leave Italy following Saturday’s Champions League final, has registered an interest with Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United

With 21 goals and seven assists in Serie A, the 25-year-old is having the best season of his Inter career. He will look to add to that total when the Nerazzurri play Manchester City in the European Championship final in Istanbul.

Martinez has long been coveted by Europe’s wealthiest clubs, but sources have now told 90min that Martinez’s representatives have spoken to a number of clubs to let them know that Martinez is prepared for a new challenge this summer. Chelsea and United, who have been monitoring Martinez’s career for years, have expressed interest in a summer transfer, but if they want to get him to the Premier League, they will need to fend off interest from Real Madrid.

Martinez has long been a favourite of Real, much like the English duo, but Los Blancos have recently intensified their admiration as they get ready for a major attack revamp. This summer saw the departures of Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, and Mariano Diaz from the team, leaving Real Madrid in need of big reinforcements. Kai Havertz of Chelsea is being considered, although no approach has been made yet due to worries about his price.

Harry Kane of Tottenham is the striker that Real Madrid and United are most interested in, but 90min knows that Spurs are adamant about not selling the England international this summer, forcing both teams to explore elsewhere. Martinez, who Inter anticipate will leave the club after the Champions League final, is thus emerging as a potential target for United, Real Madrid, as well as Chelsea. As a result, the two teams are looking at all of their alternatives.

Romelu Lukaku’s future and their interest in custodian Andre Onana are just two of the problems that Mauricio Pochettino’s team is in close contact with Inter about as they continue to monitor Harry Kane’s status in their own search for a new striker. Martinez’s status with the Blues has also been discussed. Victor Osimhen of Napoli is another player who the two Premier League teams are very interested in, although his price tag is anticipated to be well over €100m.
