Chelsea are looking for a new central-striking option.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface during the summer transfer window. He has been outstanding for the Bundesliga leaders.
The 23-year-old made a move to Bayer Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League outfit Union SG in July 2023. He has netted 10 goals and provided seven assists in 16 Bundesliga matches.
The Nigerian is helping the side to take the top spot in the German top-flight. Alonso’s side is sitting eight points clear of second-placed Bayern Munich.
Chelsea are ‘tempting’ Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface into a move this summer.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the Blues are very much keeping an eye on the 23-year-old as they look for the striker that their squad desperately needs.

The report adds that Chelsea are looking for a new central-striking option. They already signed Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku in the previous summer window.
Former RB Leipzig man Nkunku has only featured in seven Premier League matches this season due to injury and Jackson has managed seven goals in 22 top-flight appearances.
Leverkusen will put an asking price for Boniface at €40m. The 23-year-old captured the attention of many clubs during his first season in the Bundesliga.
