Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has attracted the interest of Bayern Munich once again.

The player who has broken through the Blues academy has been deprived of first team action of late. The player was on the radar of Munich a year ago, but the move failed to materialize after Chelsea had turned down a £45 million proposal from Munich.

20 months down the line, Bayern are back with another offer for him. This time it is a loan move for one season followed by an option to buy for £70 million.

It is now upto Chelsea and Hudson-Odoi to decide before Monday. The winger has been given limited game time at the Bridge but it is unlikely that will change should he move to Bayern.

“Callum is absolutely part of my plans here. We have [Christian] Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech injured before Christian came back in today.

“We need options and what Callum showed today and the second half against West Brom is exactly what he needs to show. I am pleased with him.”

“There is no definitive answer. By Monday we will know the answer. They might have declared their interest, which is one thing, but as I have just said there in terms of the squad, everything that happens by Monday will be things that are firstly good for us as a club because Callum is our player, and what Callum wants comes into consideration.

“It has to be right for everybody. At the minute I want Callum as part of my squad, especially with what he offered up today and the second half against West Brom. That is where I am at.”
