Aubameyang is still hoping for a Barcelona reunion.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may return to Barcelona in the summer as he gives hints about his departure from Chelsea.
The Gabonese international made a move to Chelsea in last summer but since the new signings at the Blues in winter, he has been benched. Chelsea invested in Mykhailo Mudryk, and Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix so there is no place for Aubameyang.
The former Arsenal striker has only managed one Premier League goal so far this season. Chelsa are also planning to sell him.
La Blaugrana are also considering a move for the veteran striker, as their financial situation has shown signs of improvement, with Chelsea open to a free transfer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Aubameyang is still hoping for a Barcelona reunion, if a deal can be brokered in the coming weeks.
“And I would like to return to Barça, but we’ll see what happens”, he said.
