Rio Ferdinand said, “At 36, 37 I was on the way to A&E after almost every game I was in so much pain. It was hard. I don’t know how Thiago Silva is doing it. It’s unreal. You’ve got to respect his professionalism. He’s had a bad game this weekend, who cares?”
Chelsea will now face Brighton in their next game on the weekend. They moved to 10th in the top flight after the defeat to Newcastle.
Thiago Silva is also looking to leave the Stamford Bridge and he may think about the potential departure in the summer of 2024. Some top clubs are monitoring his progress at Chelsea.
