Armando Broja commits to Chelsea amidst transfer speculations
In the middle of transfer rumours, Chelsea’s Armando Broja looks unaltered by the thought of leaving in January. The teenage striker, whose future has been discussed, particularly with Fulham expressing interest, is unconcerned about leaving Stamford Bridge.
Fulham were looking for a goal-scoring solution when Aleksandar Mitrovic left. However, the Blues’ striker is said to be determined on staying in the royal blue of Chelsea.
Despite the addition of Raul Jimenez from Wolves to fill Mitrovic’s absence, Fulham has struggled to reach the back of the net on a consistent basis, underscoring the need for a prolific striker. Broja, who has shown glimpses of his brilliance, has emerged as a target for the Cottagers.
Contrary to popular belief, Broja appears content to stay and compete for a spot in the starting lineup alongside Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea’s stated lack of interest in parting ways with the teenage forward matches his determination.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is apparently interested on keeping Broja, showing the club’s intention to develop and exploit the skills of the talented attacker.
With Broja obviously evading Fulham, the focus now shifts to who the Cottagers will pursue in their continued search for a goal-scoring solution.
