Casadei would make another fantastic addition to the club.
According to Gianluca DiMarzio, Leicester City are eyeing a move for Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei. The relegated Premier League club wants the 20-year-old star on a loan deal.
The Ravenna-born midfielder spent last season on loan in the Championship. He joined Reading in England’s second-tier competition in January on a short-term loan deal.
Despite never playing a Serie A game, Cesare Casadei joined Chelsea from Inter Milan last summer. The Premier League club paid around £12 million. Casadei spent six months at Cobham before moving to Championship for another six months.
Casadei captained Italy’s Under-20 side at Under-20 World Cup to the final, where they lost to Uruguay. He received the Best Player award for his performances at the tournament.
He was the top scorer award after netting seven times. He displayed his eye for goal and put himself on the map.
Leicester City suffered relegation last season and have already lost midfield master James Maddison to Tottenham Hotspur. Casadei would make another fantastic addition to the club.
