Christian Pulisic informed AC Milan of his decision and is reportedly open to joining them this summer
After four years with the team, the 24-year-old is anticipated to leave Chelsea, with Milan emerging as the front-runners to sign him.
While serving abroad earlier this month, Pulisic was questioned about his future. It has undoubtedly been an intriguing experience for me at the club level, he remarked. I felt those two years were fantastic, and the subsequent two simply haven’t gone as I had anticipated.
“We’ll have to wait and see what happens this summer; it’s clearly extremely early. I currently play for Chelsea, and I intend to return there, but a lot can happen and a lot may change. In recent weeks, AC Milan, who are about to finalise a trade for his Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, have expressed interest in Pulisic.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will only agree to a trade at the current price of €15 million despite Chelsea’s asking price of over €20 million. Pulisic’s affirmative response to joining the Rossoneri, provided an agreement can be reached between the teams, has given the Rossoneri hope that they will be able to close a deal.
In addition, Pulisic is willing to contribute financially to the Serie A team and is ready to forego some money in order to force a transfer. Hakim Ziyech will also leave Chelsea for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, and Milan, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest are all showing interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi. According to the article, Pulisic’s relationship with Puma—Milan’s technical sponsor—could facilitate the deal.
