Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, and Trevoh Chalobah to depart this summer

Chelsea FC is preparing for a summer shake-up, with three significant exits looming. According to Football Insider, Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, and Trevoh Chalobah will all depart Stamford Bridge during the upcoming transfer window.

Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, O’Rourke said: “It’ll be the homegrown assets to go first, they’re the obvious ones who will bring in pure profit.

“You’ve got Conor Gallagher, who hasn’t signed a new contract.

“There’s no doubt there will be lots of interest in him, and I’m sure he’ll have his pick of clubs.

“He’s no closer to agreeing a new deal, even though he says he wants to stay.

“Trevoh Chalobah has come back into the fold but he’s wanted elsewhere and I expect Chelsea to be open to offers.

“Armando Broja will probably also be moved on. His loan move to Fulham hasn’t worked out, but I expect him to go.

“They are three I definitely expect to move on.”

Gallagher’s contract with Chelsea expires in just 12 months, and he appears to be on his way out after stalling contract talks.

The midfielder’s strong performances have drawn the interest of Tottenham Hotspur, who have been interested in his abilities, with an offer on the cards following previous attempts in the 2023 summer window.

Meanwhile, Broja and Chalobah, while having long contracts with the Blues, are also positioned to go. Both players have struggled with injuries in recent seasons, impeding their advancement at the club despite once-promising careers.

Chelsea’s choice of selling the trio shows that their goal is to maximize earnings from domestic talent. Gallagher, Broja, and Chalobah are all on the brink of leaving, signaling a dramatic modification in squad dynamics going into the next season.

As the summer transfer window gets nearer, all eyes will be on Chelsea as they navigate the complex world of player departures and signings.
