Benoit Badiashile to stay at Chelsea despite links from AC Milan

Badiashile will be hoping to shake off the disappointing defensive performance.

Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is heavily linked with the transfer move from the club in the summer. According to football.london, the 23-year-old wants to stay at Stamford Bridge despite reported interest from AC Milan.

The 23-year-old Frenchman joined Chelsea from AS Monaco in the winter of 2023. He signed a long-term deal until 2030 but AC Milan are showing interest in him.

This season, he wasn’t so regular due to injuries as he missed 19 games. He returned to action on Saturday alongside Axel Disasi and looked shaky against Burnley.

Chelsea will now take on Manchester United and he will be hoping to shake off the disappointing defensive performance. Summer window will be important for the Blues.

The West London club are searching for a new central defender to replace Thiago Silva. The Brazilian will see his contract expire at the end of June. The 39-year-old will go back to his country and play for his former club.

Sporting CP’s Ousmane Diomande, OGC Nice man Jean-Clair Todibo and Cobham academy graduate Marc Guehi are also few options at Chelsea.
