Christian Pulisic will be hoping to reignite his career this summer.
The 24-year-old winger has entered the final 12 months of his contract and is one of the many players in Chelsea linked with a summer exit.
The USMNT international seems keen to relaunch his career elsewhere as he managed just eight starts for the Blues last season.
According to reports, Lyon are leading the race for the Chelsea winger who has struggled for minutes since 2019.
Lyon’s American owner John Textor is pushing hard to bring Pulisic to France this summer.
In a recent interview, Pulisic has confirmed his intention to leave Stamford Bridge to reignite his career.
Chelsea are expected to recoup only £17m of the initial £58m they paid for Pulisic back in 2019.
“It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.”
He added: “It’s been a really tough season for me personally and for our team of course at a club level.”
