Noni Madueke was one of the low profile signings back in January.
The 21-year-old English winger was signed from PSV in a deal worth £30m but has struggled for goals in the second-half of the season.
He was favoured by Frank Lampards towards the end of the campaign and expects to flourish under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The English winger is one of the many attacking options at Pochettino’s disposal and the club would offload a few players this summer.
Madueke insists that he doesn’t want to go out on a loan spell and wants to work under the new manager.
“A loan spell would be impossible for both parties,” Madueke told the Evening Standard.
“I’ve been brought in and there’s a plan for me at the club. I finished the season well, so next season is just about kicking on in the team and showing everyone the real me.
He further added: “The expectation for me from the club and myself is for me to play – and play well – next year, and to keep developing as a player and a person.”
